“Dear Essential Workers,” is a thank you note to the heroes and helpers of COVID-19 in the form of a children’s book. While most children are taught that first responders are heroes, COVID-19 has highlighted others who play a pivotal role in our community. The intention of this book is to help educate kids on who those workers are, how they help and the importance of expressing gratitude to them.
The author, Lauren Sugarman Moscov, is teaming up with Purple Community to raise funds to support biomedical research and K-12 and graduate education programs at Van Andel Institute. Proceeds from each book sold through our website will be donated back to VAI.
Orders must be received by Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 12 p.m. to receive your book in time for the holidays.
