Last week concluded this summer’s series of Maranda Park Parties. Along with Maranda and numerous local organizations, we participated in Park Parties throughout West Michigan this summer in Wyoming, Muskegon, Holland and East Kentwood.
We had so much fun engaging with so many West Michigan families in our community and learning about the passion and connections so many attendees have to the mission here at Van Andel Institute.
At the parties, we popped up the purple tent and provided fun arts and crafts activities for the kids to participate in, including the creation of purple hope ribbons for children at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.
Kids stopped by for fun giveaways of purple merchandise, many even getting a purple foam finger of their very own to sport in the photo booth. Check out all the photos from this summer filled with fun on our Facebook page.
We loved our summer days out in the sun at the Maranda Park Parties! Thank you to Maranda and her team for providing such a wonderful opportunity for us! See you again next year at the parks!
